Aims

XMLOpen aims to provide attendees with a valuable and memorable experience. The goal of the event is to ensure everybody present leaves with new tools and techniques that can be applied to the projects that they work on. As such, the emphasis is on information sharing and on-site problem solving.

What this means in practice is that delegates will be busy. As well as a full time series of presentations, there will also be a network available to support collaboration on technology problems and the opportunity to indulge in real time development with fellow delegates. By coming to XMLOpen with fixed problems that you need to solve you will be contributing to the success of the event.

As well as the technical presentations, there will be plenty of opportunity to meet new people and establish business and personal relationships. Interest groups will be encouraged to convene against a background of more formal presentations. Every delegate will have the opportunity to hear experts impart information, advice and solutions in an enjoyable and pleasant environment.

By getting inolved early delegates will have the opportunity to shape what happens at XMLOpen. Once registered you will be able to suggest activities and access resources to make your XMLOpen experience a memorable one.
